I would so love to win a new HDTV, especially after my boyfriend got a new Philips 42″ one for his “man cave” (using my Sam’s Club membership). Couple that with the Blu-Ray player I gave him for his birthday, and I’ve already seen less of them than usual. Heck, he’d probably sit and watch the Sportsman Channel on TV if it was available in our area (Cableone is the only cable provider) just to watch something on TV.
The Sportsman Channel is available on various dish network channels though like DirecTV (Channel 605) and Dish Network (Channel 285 for regular, or Channel 9483 for HDTV). Considering that the cost of cable is almost $100 for each of us (we don’t live together mind you), we’ve both discussed getting satellite television. I like that fact that you can now get local affiliate programming now with satellite television as I like to watch my local news on NBC, ABC (and sometimes CBS).
