SRS Labs Netbook Giveaway

Posted by Contest Finder on April 15, 2010

Enter to win 1 (one) of 3  (three) Dell Inspirion Mini IM1012 Netbooks customized with SRS Premium Sound, the ultimate audio solution, and designer graphics in the Netbook Computer Sweepstakes from SRS Labs! $350 value each; Enter Once; US only (void Alaska and Hawaii); 18 years of are or older; contest ends on April 19th, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. PT.

At SRS Labs, they work hard every day to create technologies that enable audio devices to reproduce sound naturally and restore it to what it is supposed to be: organic, immersive and uncompromised. From personal computers to flat panel TVs to mobile phones, more than a billion CE devices in the world depend on one or more of their technologies to deliver great sound. So, next time you come across a product that sounds great, take a closer look and you’ll probably find an SRS technology behind it.

I would love to win a new Dell Inspirion Mini IM1012 Netbook to take with me while traveling.  I had a Dell Netbook, but didn’t care for it because it used Ubuntu instead of Windows, and I’m impatient when it comes to learning new systems.  Although I can’t wait to play with the new iPad that I won from MacMall when I receive it!  Anyway, I gave my Dell netbook to my assistant and bought myself a new Acer netbook with the Windows system. Unfortunately I bought the cheapest one, so it runs exceptionally slow.

I plan to do a free scan of the WinASO Registry Optimizer with 7+ built-in optimization tools such as System Optimizer, Privacy Cleaner and IE Manager,  (and is the only 5-star Registry optimizer rated by CNET editors) to clean my Windows registry.  Over time, a Windows registry can accumulate a large number of obsolete, redundant and invalid entries and registry holes, which seriously affect your PC performance (aka speed).

I recommend you Download WinASO Registry Optimizer (100% safe) to clean your Registry if your computer is running more and more slowly.

Simplify My Life Sweepstakes

Posted by Contest Finder on December 30, 2009

Win one of three HP Mini 110 with Windows 7  or one of three HP Mini 110-1100 by Studio Tord Boontje PCs in the Simplify My Life Sweepstakes on MomBloggersClub.com!

There are two ways to enter…

1) Write your own blog post about how you’d use an HP Mini to simplify your life*, much like five-time Olympian Dara Torres does (as shown in the youtube video below).   Don’t have a blog? Well then, this next entry option is for you!

2) All you have to do is leave a comment on this very blog post as 3 Tord Minis will be given away randomly to readers who leave a comment on entrants’ sweepstakes posts!

*I know an HP Mini 110 with Windows 7 would definitely simplify my life! Being a single mom of four, I’m always on the go, running the kids here and there and everywhere. Since I work online, I would be able to work from virtually anywhere with a Tord Mini, for instance, waiting during soccer practice or between wrestling matches! And the HP Mini is so thin that it would fit in my handbag!

Eligibility Restrictions: One one entry per blog, United States, Canada, at least 18 years of age, plus you need to become a member of the Mom Bloggers Club (free to register, not sure if you have to be a mother to register). Deadline for entries is January 20th, 2010 at midnight ET.
