To enter, you need to submit a video showing how life is or can be better with great vision/eyesight. The video must fall into one of the following three categories:
1. “My contacts are getting in the way of my good time”
2. “My favorite sport or activity would be so much cooler with better vision”
3. “You should see life after the iLASIK Procedure”
Once you submit your video, you can send a link to your friends so they can vote on it, and they can vote daily.
Limit one video entry per person. Open to residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, ages 21 and older. Void where prohibited by law.
*I personally have had Lasik vision correction surgery, and it is the best thing ever! No more needing to squint to see the alarm clock in the middle of the night. No more glasses. No more contacts. Life definitely is better! If I didn’t already have had this procedure, I would definitely enter myself. But I am going to email my friends and family to enter! Now where’s my flip cam??

Ugly behavior such as violence, indecency, or illegal activities aren’t tolerated. Photos of people are not allowed.
Some of the photos I saw that were already submitted include ugly old furniture, ugly cars, rotten food, dirty bathrooms, trash, and ugly animals. I personally have cynophobia (a fear of dogs), so naturally I think all the dog pictures are especially ugly. What should I upload a picture of?

You can see examples of other people’s submitted stories for entry here. There have been a lot good stories so far, from helping families learn to be eco-friendly to lakeside movie houses, from keeping up with the soldiers overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan to even keeping a marriage together.
Charter has created a buzz around its online contests! Last year Charter gave away laptops and Xbox 360 game systems and even a 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid. Man, I wish I was a Charter customer so I could enter to win! But living in hickville (aka Nebraska), they don’t offer service here. Boo.
