Abbott Medical Optics Inc. recently announced the winners of the “You Gotta See This” iLASIK Video Contest. Entrants had to make a video showing how having improved vision would impact their lives for the better, and in return, they had a chance to win cash (that they could use for Lasik eye surgery) and various prizes.
I didn’t personally enter as I’ve already had Lasik eye surgery. And I suck at making videos. But congratulations are in order for the winners listed below. I highly recommend Lasik eye surgery to anyone. I love not having to squint to see the alarm clock in the middle of the night anymore. I love not having to fumble for my glasses on the night stand. And I especially love not having to deal with buying and putting in contacts, buying contact solution, losing contacts, and getting stuff in your eye while wearing contacts, etc.

To enter, you need to submit a video showing how life is or can be better with great vision/eyesight. The video must fall into one of the following three categories:
1. “My contacts are getting in the way of my good time”
2. “My favorite sport or activity would be so much cooler with better vision”
3. “You should see life after the iLASIK Procedure”
Once you submit your video, you can send a link to your friends so they can vote on it, and they can vote daily.
Limit one video entry per person. Open to residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, ages 21 and older. Void where prohibited by law.
*I personally have had Lasik vision correction surgery, and it is the best thing ever! No more needing to squint to see the alarm clock in the middle of the night. No more glasses. No more contacts. Life definitely is better! If I didn’t already have had this procedure, I would definitely enter myself. But I am going to email my friends and family to enter! Now where’s my flip cam??
