    I believe in God and I know that everything that I have in life is from God and his blessings upon me. I see it this way…if he believes that I need it or deserve it he will give it to me and if I don’t have it or deserve it then I won’t ever get it and that’s fine with me…I know that my real reward though is in heaven one day and that’s worth more to me than jewels and rubies here on earth.     I have been entering & buying products from PCH since 1997. I live in a small town Indiana and I can tell you that no one hear has every win anything from PCH. I know you hear all kinds of stories, but let me tell you mine. I’m married with one son and a step-daughter who are 27 and 22 years of age. I have my father and 4 sister, 3 brother, mother-in-law, 6 sister-in-law, 7 brother-in-law , so my family is pretty large. I have worked in a factory for over 22 years and my husband was a local truck driver. My weakness is helping other people. Then in May of 2006 I was fired for attends (due to my illness) (I was diagnosis with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Migraines, Chronic Pain). I have applied for Social Security Disabled, and been denied benefits twice. Now I have filed an appeal for a hearing with Administrative Law Judge. I was informed that my hearing would not be on the docket until something after Oct. 2008 due to case load.
    How do they expect people to live? I guess you have to lose everything that you have worked your whole life for before you can get any help. We pay our whole life into these funds and the people that need them the most can’t get them.
    I will not beg anyone for money, I hope and pray that the good lord will heal me and let me return to work someday.
    I could use the $5,000.00-A-WEEK FOR LIFE. The same as all the other people. Everybody has dreams and wish. That is what keeps people getting out of bed everyday.

    It’s nice to dream. Dream on. The odds of winning a major prize from pch is 505,000,000 to 1 (and Ms. Herle, that’s 505 BILLION to 1! If you did win $5000 a week, after you paid a 25% gift tax you’d get about $2500. Then the $2500 would be taxed again during tax season. If I were to win the sweepstakes, I would continue to work (I’m 51), and possibly retire early, so that I could continue to get my medical benefits. I would do as my mother taught me, and that is: spend a little, save a little, and throw a little away, and only help others when I am in a position to do so. People will leech off of you until you’re broke, and then be gone. $5,000 a week would only allow me to live a standard of living that would put me in a middle to upper class bracket.     i have been literally praying for alot of money, not so i would never have to work–just to ease the extreme stress of making ends meet, start a business, and to be able to help family and friends, as well as strangers in need. sometimes it just hurts to see what people go through for lack of money although they work very hard. some, have just given up hope because they clearly see no way out. btw… about 20 years ago.. i was strapped for money and faced with moving into my first apartment with my 3 yr old son. lo and behold out of the blue i won $200 from a PCH contest as well as some misc items (also from PCH) such as a set of silverware (i may actually still be using them lol), a radio and something else i dont recall. at the time it was literally a miracle and helped me pay first month’s rent (it was just EXACTLY enuff to cover what i was short) and eat dinner!!

    regarding my last post… btw all my life have never really was a winner.. maybe a few bucks (very few) here and there in lottery tickets. when i was a kid i won a hard boiled egg and $1 in a race against slightly younger kids (hehe). so that $200 from PCH 20 years ago was awsome.. wasnt all that much but meant the world at the time. winning makes ya feel great (even if its just an egg lol) …but you never know what can happen!

    I have filled out many pages of questions to win on several contests. I get to a certain point in the questions and cannot get to the next section of the questions. It justs stops and will not accept my answers. Why is that? So I just don’t try anymore. It’s like make believe contests. The prizes sound great, but you can never get far enough to win.

I’ve had a hard life growing up in this system I have an a emotional disability so it makes it hard for me .     I am a senior citizen who is about to lose my home of twenty eight years. My husband has been disabled since he had a severe truck accident that crushed his back and one foot in nineteen ninty four. I have a severe illness that attacks all my muscles, tendons and nerves though out my whole body. I am in pain 24/7 all day and night. I had to cancel my health insurance because it went up to eight hundred dollars a month. I have to take thirteen different medication a day that I have to pay for myself.     had a severe car accident, on april 11,2008…
    received traumatic brain injury…
    died april 12, 2008 but the doctors were able to bring me back…
    i was paralyzrd completely on my left side,
    no voice, nothing,,,
    then was able to move my toes on left side…
    spent next four months in hospital…constant therapy treatment…
    home in october…
    lost job…
    office manager and in business for 35 years…
    now i can’t play my piano, my guitar, or sing,,,as i used to be a lead singer in band…miss all of that really bad…
    sometimes i can’t understamnd why i am alive…
    they don’t allow me to do my own pills as i used them incorrectly…
    i now also have to take depression pills and therapy..
    oh yeah,,, what fun is that?

    i got pneumonia the week of thanksgiving and ended back in the hospital…
    this set me way backwards…
    doctors are finally being honest with me in that i will for the rest of my life be partailly paralyzed because of my brain…
    we are trying to receive aide, but it is battle and also another expense,,,
    darn the luck…

    Hello PCH people,well im a 41 old woman w/ ahubby and 5 children and im praying we get to come in some kind of money we are on the verge of losing our home and we have been living with a tarp on our roof for over 2 years now,and our homeowners insurance wont lift a finger and our kids have got phnuemonia from the mold when it rains but i can go on bout our worries and pain but i am so praying for some releif soon,,but good luck everyone,,and GOD BLESS,,LIVE TO LOVE,,ALICEIA

    I am writing to say i have been entering these contest for over twenty years now praying that the prize patrol would knock on my door. well now i am praying even harder these days . why you may ask . well i am now a grandmother of 5 and i am raising 3 out of the five grandchildren i am also taking care of my 73 year old mother who is a cancer and heart patient and i am also disabled due to a car accident a few years back. and on top of everything else the one and only car i had has broken down and i can not afford to get it fixed. which is a real problem since my mother needs to see her doctors and the kids have appointments also this as become a hard burden to carry and the people i have had to ask for help are getting very tired of me needing thier help. i don’t write this for anyones sympathy but for someone to understand my situation. it would be nothing short of a Godsend for me to win at least a prize that would help me fix my van or just maybe get a new one that i won’t have to worry about breaking down all the time. i know this won’t help me win but it helps a little to know that someone just might understand what i am going through.thank you for letting me blog this . and God Bless all that read this.
